The TOEIC® test helps academic institutions equip their students to meet the challenges of an international market.

As students demand that their educational institutions equip them to meet the challenges of a global market, universities and institutions of higher education have to offer their students more than just knowledge. Whether you are a business or technical school, or a university offering a plethora of subjects, you have to facilitate your students’ access to an international job market. For this, it is essential that they certify their English language skills using an internationally accepted, and valid and reliable measurement. This is where the TOEIC® test can help.

As an academic institution, you can use the TOEIC® test to:

  • Ensure that your students step out into the working world equipped to meet the demand of international companies for international skills, by including the TOEIC® test in your curriculum as a graduating criterion.
  • Enhance the credibility of your institution by including tests like the TOEIC® and TOEIC® Bridge within your curriculum. This can increase the international recognition accorded to your institution, making a stronger case for students to join your university.

Score rosters

ETS Europe can arrange to provide academic institutions with a score roster at the end of each testing session. This is not for use by individual test takers; rather it provides an indication of the overall performance levels at a particular test session. The roster includes:

  • Individual scores (listening comprehension, reading comprehension, total scores)
  • Scores from the most recent testing session (average score, frequency distribution, range of scores)
  • Scores obtained in all testing sessions (average score, frequency distribution, range of scores)
  • Scores within the industry with which the client is affiliated
  • Scores within the country with which the client is affiliated

Become an authorised partner

Your institution can choose to become an ETS Europe authorised partner and include the various tests that we offer as an integral part of your curriculum. Being our partner, you will also get access to ETS Europe expertise and a network of educators, academic institutions and policy makers all over Europe.

You can request an accreditation for your establishment by contacting us. If you meet ETS conditions of eligibility, an obligatory half-day training session will be organised on your site. An optional full-day session includes a full and official TOEIC® and Bridge tests session in the afternoon, which enables participants to have a real life experience of the tests. Following the training session, your centre will receive a certificate enabling you to organise test sessions throughout the year on your preferred days.
